Steve Chandler

Steve Chandler began playing music in the fifth grade and went on to enter talent contests, which led to forming a band with his schoolmate Gordy Wilcher. Steve joined The Mags, which toured and even played on Dick Clark’s Caravan of Stars. Steve developed an interest in the recording side of music and went on to work with a long list of artists including The Beach Boys, 38 Special, Keith Urban and BJ Thomas, among others. He built a recording studio in his hometown of Owensboro, Kentucky, while still recording and producing in such Nashville studios as Hill Top Studios and RCA. Steve enjoys being in the position of training young engineers, providing his advice and sharing his endless among of interesting stories.
