This session argues for a wider incorporation of technology into music education. Incorporating music technology has the potential to help grow your program by reaching student musicians who may not participate in traditional large ensembles; it welcomes and fosters broad creative practice; and, it can be done in a way that is accessible and affordable. In this workshop I will discuss these benefits, I will share resources for getting up and running with music technology, and I will share some ways music technology can be used in the classroom such as in private lessons, small ensembles, and large ensembles.
