Jamie Deering

Jamie Deering is CEO of Deering Banjo Company, a family-owned factory that has handcrafted instruments for 48 years. Based in Spring Valley, California, and known as the Great American Banjo Company, their 4-, 5- and 6-string banjos are proudly made in the USA. Deering Banjos received the Distinguished Achievement Award by the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) in 2014 and was inducted in 2016 to the American Banjo Museum Hall of Fame. In addition to leading her family’s business, Jamie served as a board member for NAMM Young Professionals and two terms as board member of the International Bluegrass Music Association. Deering Banjo Company has been a NAMM Member since 1978.
