Charlie Gracie was an early Rockabilly performer who recorded three charted songs in a single year, 1957, right in the heart of the golden era of rock and roll. His biggest hit "Butterfly" was followed by several other chart-topping songs over his career including "Fabulous." Charlie played an important role during the resurgence of Rockabilly in the 1980s by recording and performing with several of the leading artists of that revival such as the Stray Cats. He continued to tour and record into the 2020s. Since the beginning of his career, Charlie always played the very same Guild Guitar, which can be heard in this video interview.
