Scott Thurston emerged onto the scene as a versatile session musician. His melodic prowess has graced the stages alongside an array of artists, from Jackson Browne to the dynamic force of Iggy and the Stooges. As Scott's musical journey unfolded, he seamlessly transitioned into the craft of songwriting, penning tunes with Jackson Browne, Iggy Pop and The Motels. Recognized for his musicianship and songwriting acumen, his talents caught the eye of rock icons like James Williamson and Tom Petty. Joining the Heartbreakers for their monumental Full Moon Fever tour in 1989, Scott contributed to the band on rhythm guitar, keyboards, harmonica and backing vocals. Tom Petty's admiration for Scott's musicality solidified his indispensable role within the band, earning him the affectionate moniker "Duckhead!"
