Steve Judge

Steve Judge is the president of Griggs Music in Davenport, one of the oldest music retailers in the country.  Formed in 1903, the company has gained a reputation for staying power, which Steve points out, is based on several elements, including their customers and the ability and willingness to change and adapt to change.  For example, the store began and flourished as a piano dealer for many decades and later rode the wave of combo needs of their community.  In recent years the company has focused on band and orchestra and music education in the area schools.  Steve served on the NAMM Board and has been an active member of the industry and music education for several decades.
