Security/Material Release/VIP Celebrity Access
Security Measures:
Exhibitors are solely responsible for all of their property at the show.
NAMM Show Management takes reasonable precautions to safeguard exhibitors' property by providing 24-hour perimeter guard services during move-in, show days, and move-out. Despite these security measures, neither NAMM Show Management, the Anaheim Convention Center, security contractors, nor any related personnel can be held responsible for loss, theft, or damage to property.
The Anaheim Convention Center employs various security measures, including CCTV cameras both inside and around the perimeter of the facility. These cameras are managed by the Security Department to monitor safety, security, building conditions, and crowd management. Please note that these cameras do not offer surveillance of individual exhibitors’ property.
Exhibitors are encouraged to remain vigilant and take additional security measures to protect their belongings. Below are some recommended security tips.
Security Tips & Recommendations:
- Monitor your booth at all times, including during product delivery.
- Use locked trunks or crates for shipping and choose a qualified carrier/forwarder.
- Inventory your products upon delivery, and promptly report any damages or missing items.
- Avoid listing contents on the outside of shipping crates or boxes.
- Cover your display each night at show closing with a cloth, tarp, or sheet whenever possible.
- Consider ordering a CCTV booth monitoring package, which includes recording cameras installed in your booth space.
- Hire overnight security for your booth. Contact Allied Universal at (714) 222-0840 for assistance.
- Remove valuable items (laptops, cameras, small samples, etc.) when the booth is not staffed.
- Always staff your booth during show hours and remain at least 30 minutes after closing to ensure security as the show floor is cleared.
- Do not leave your booth unattended, especially during move-in or move-out.
- Supervise your merchandise during move-out until your empties arrive, and your goods are packed, scaled, labelled, and ready for shipping.
- Provide an accurate and complete Bill of Lading (MHA) to Freeman and your shipping company. Freeman's responsibility begins when items are picked up from your booth and ends upon delivery to the forwarding carrier.
