Level Up at The 2025 NAMM Show: Tuesday & Wednesday Must-Attend Education
There’s nothing like discovering your next big product at The NAMM Show. But along with spotlighting innovative gear, The NAMM Show is also a festival of ideas to help you elevate your business and skills. So much so that in 2025, we’re expanding The NAMM Show to five full days (January 21–25) to deliver more of what you want: more education, more networking and more opportunities to stay in the lead.
It starts with two days of sessions and events before the show floor even opens. Unlike exhibit days — which offer shorter sessions to give you time to explore new products — Tuesday and Wednesday education will deep dive into vital topics through long-form workshops. Think of it as an exclusive opportunity to grow your business and upskill yourself in the new year. Here’s an overview.
Day 1: Profitability and Influencer Marketing
Your NAMM Show experience begins Tuesday, January 21. If you’re an exhibitor, take a break from booth setup to attend a special lunch session, specifically for brands, on how to make the most of influencer marketing. It will feature insights from experts Tracy Hoeft of Amplify 11 and Ryan Burke of the 60 Cycle Hum guitar podcast.
If you’re a dealer, check out the Retail Financial Summit in the afternoon. This immersive half-day workshop, featuring Alan Friedman and Daniel Jobe, will reveal how to boost your profitability through an interactive, audience-driven format.
Day 2: Marketing Strategy, Studio Tech and Live Event Production
The next day, Wednesday, January 22, will roll out new strategies and innovative ideas with a suite of in-depth educational summits, developed for every major NAMM member community.
The inaugural TEC Tracks Studio Summit welcomes recording and music technology professionals for a daylong series of sessions. Get a firsthand look at everything from the future of recording studios and innovations in music production to best practices for running sessions, whether you operate a major commercial operation or boutique project studio.
The NAMM Marketing Summit returns after a successful edition in 2024. Open to everyone from music retailers to brands, you’ll take part in workshops and sessions on AI and marketing, the latest content creation strategies and Instagram updates. The way we reach and convert customers continues to evolve; this is an opportunity to get up to speed.
Also, if you’re in live event production, you can take part in the Entertainment Tech Summit: Powering the Stages, a full day with lighting expert, trainer and Lighting&Sound America Technical Editor Richard Cadena. It will cover key aspects of electrical power distribution and safety, including practical applications and important concepts every live event tech will want to be aware of — no matter their experience level. And audio and entertainment tech professionals alike will benefit from Dante Training by Audinate, including level one and two workshops on the popular networking technology.
These opportunities are available to you, the NAMM member, at no additional cost. It’s all part of your badge for The NAMM Show, where your global business community gathers. Don’t miss out — register now. We can't wait to see you in January!
