NAMM is thrilled to announce that Representative Maxwell Frost, FL-10, was the keynote speaker on Tuesday, November 14 as part of the D.C. Fly-In Briefing Day. Frost was elected in November 2022, and is the youngest member of Congress and the first of his generation (Gen Z) to hold a seat in the House. Representing Central Florida, Frost grew up in a household where his mother was a special education teacher and his father was a full-time musician. His parents instilled in him a lifelong love of music and a fierce drive to advocate for education. Representative Frost is a jazz drummer and plays the timbales. He was also part of his high school band, which performed in a parade during President Barack Obama's inauguration in 2013.
