Beverly Noga

Beverly Noga learned all she knows from her mother about the music business. Helen Noga was one of the owners of the Blackhawk Club and the Downbeat Club in San Francisco, California, who later became the woman who discovered Johnny Mathis and brought him to the height of his career. Later, Beverly worked with them in publicity and promotion. After Helen retired, Beverly formed her own publicity office, Contemporary Public Relations in the early 1960s and worked with such artists as Cream, The Bee Gees, The Turtles, Three Dog Night and several others. With her partner in business they started the careers of Sonny & Cher with their hit “I Got You Babe.” When meeting the Chambers Brothers, which turned out to be her longest association with a group, Beverly closed her office to become their publicist. As their publicist she promoted their concerts, albums, television appearances and other projects. When the band broke up, each going their own way, Beverly Noga and Willie Chambers formed their own companies together, Hebewillen Enterprises and Hebewillin Publishing. Along with their music they have written books for film and television projects and are also handling Willie’s personal appearances and concerts.
