Bill Higgins

Bill Higgins enjoyed the country and hillbilly music he heard growing up. He surrounded himself with music his entire life. In 1965, Bill and his wife Nancy, opened Bill Higgins Music just south of Baltimore in Catonsville, Maryland. The store expanded over the years to include teaching, instrument repair and a full line of instruments and accessories. The store includes many of the programs found in a mom and pop shop with a few often not seen, such as a rental program for kids that includes electric guitars and drums. Walking into Bill’s Music is a special treat for music lovers--clearly the result of a great visionary.
