Brian Donaldson
Oral History Information
Brian Donaldson is an exuberant cheerleader for NAMM’s Museum of Making Music, where he volunteers as a docent. He joined the team in 2016 and can often be found leading tours, jamming with guests in the interactive areas, or assisting with the museum’s concert series. His love of music began when he heard the Beatles and was later driven to the guitar in large part due to Leo Kottke. With a very interesting life journey, Brian was schooled in Iran and later served in the US Marines for 20 years. All the while his 1975 Martin guitar was close by his side. And it still is!
