Cathy Pullin
Oral History Information
Cathy Pullin was hired by Ken-tron Mfg., Inc. in 1979 as a secretary. Her duties expanded to direct calls to the company’s customers for both the wire and metal stamping divisions. She became so friendly with her customers that the company’s owner, Bob Hudson, reported “customers would call just to talk to Cathy about the weather, not necessarily order anything.” When the wire division expanded to include the production of wire for guitar strings, Cathy found herself deep in the music products industry, which she enjoys very much. She has many fond memories of attending the NAMM Shows, one of which was having a full conversation with Andy Taylor of Duran Duran, only later discovering who she had been talking to.
