Damian “Mix” Harris

Damian “Mix” Harris is the production manager and audio engineer for Sound Production Services, based out of South Texas. His passion for music really took off when he was in high school and performing trombone in the Jazz band. He soon fell into recording studio work and found there was a need for audio engineers with an ear for Jazz. After hitting the road as a production manager and mixing sound for the likes of the O’Jays, Damian found his niche as an engineer for a long list of Jazz performers such as Joe Sample. More recently he serves as FOH Engineer & Production Manager for Patrice Rushen. Damian also witnessed the explosion of the House of Worship industry as an engineer and production manager, seeing the need for better sound in churches emerge just as technology was advancing and being applied to affordable audio equipment.
