David St. John

David St John began his career in music retail in 1967 and since that time he has devoted his career to bringing music and music lessons to the lives of his customers.  David worked for a few music stores in Southern California, staying decades at some stores, including Gard’s Music in Glendora.  Along the way he also worked with Dick and Ruth Charles, which was an important opportunity for David as he expanded his skills thanks to the support and guidance Mr. and Mrs. Charles provided him. David also had the wonderful experience working with the founder of Gard’s Music beginning in 1998, who became a mentor and personal friend.
