Erick Sailor

Erick Sailor is proud to say his grandfather worked for CG Conn and became one of their top repairmen back in the 1930s. His grandfather went on to work as an instrument repair technician for Tatum Music out in Longview, Texas, the very store where Erick works today. Erick’s father operated Doug’s Horn Shop in Texarkana, where young Erick cut his teeth on instrument repairs when he was eleven years old. He worked alongside his dear friend Jim Enns, who too works in the repair shop at Tatum Music. Swing by and ask Erick to show you some of his tools, many are from his father and grandfather and he will tell you that he is still using them to this day.
