Howie Simon is a seasoned musical journeyman with a profound love for playing music as well as a deep appreciation for the gear he plays. Born in Buffalo, New York, young Howie began playing guitar at the tender age of six. His exceptional playing abilities led to numerous tours with bands such as Ice Water Mansion, Talisman, the Jeff Scott Soto Band, and his Metallica tribute band called Alcoholica. He has also shared the stage with renowned artists like Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai, and Cypress Hill. Ever since he was 17, Howie has provided insightful guitar lessons to those seeking to elevate their skills to the next level, and if ever you want to talk in-depth about gear, hanging out with Howie is a must. Over the years, he has endorsed a number of products that he personally uses and believes in, including Groove Tubes, Jim Dunlop, D’Addario Strings, Nady, and Line 6. In addition to all of this, Howie can be heard on movie and television soundtracks as well as jingles and TV commercials. Howie may very well be everywhere you hear music!
