Jan Ulrich

Jan Ulrich’s brother Kelly Patterson began working at H&H Music Services in 1987 as an intern. Jan was hired just three years later in the service department. She works closely with her brother, who purchased the store located in Evansville, Indiana, in 2017. Over the years Jan has worn many hats for the business, including becoming a repair technician. She was taught the craft of repairs by Larry Wicker, who started Jan out on clarinets. Over 30 years later, at the time of her NAMM interview, Jan was proudly training a young woman in the craft as Larry did for her.
