Jim Digby

Jim Digby has been involved with the arts since childhood. In fact, he often cites his first exposure to the industry as a tech and master of ceremonies for a May Day Parade when he was in 5th grade. He was hooked! His lifetime behind the scenes has been a second home, his love for the industry and those who make it happen behind the scenes compels him to speak out on matters that elevates the practices and the humans who put it together. Having experienced both death and several near-miss moments on the job, Jim has tapped into those memories to help fuel the Event Safety Alliance and his volunteer work with the organization in support of the industry. He is quick to point out that our collective goal must be "continuous improvement, we’ve come a long way but have significantly more to achieve".
