Jodi Siegel

Jodi Siegel grew up in a musical family and developed a passion for music at a young age. Jodi started playing the ukulele because of its size but quickly moved onto the guitar. A big influence for her was Duane Allman, whom she would try to figure out how to replicate the sound of without realizing he was playing the slide guitar. Jodi released a solo recording called Stepping Stone in 2007 produced by Tony Braunagel and Terry Wilson. Over the years she has opened for legendary musicians; Albert King, Robben Ford, Robert Cray, JD Souther, David Lindley, Fred Tackett and Paul Barrere of Little Feat among others. Jodi has always considered herself a songwriter who can play guitar, and compares songwriting to a muscle that constantly needs to be worked on. “You have to sift through the good and the bad and work on it every day.”
