Josh Wilbur

Josh Wilbur is a recording engineer who is well-known for his work with heavy metal bands. His passion for music began while he was in high school playing with friends as the drummer in local bands. With an interest for the recording process, Josh moved to New York to work at Soundtrack Studios. While his initial employment there did not begin with glamorous tasks, he worked his way up to assistant engineer. Other studio experiences followed and his niche for recording and mixing heavy metal music gained the attention of such bands as Lamb of God, Megadeth, Avenged Sevenfold and Korn (among others). Josh's NAMM Oral History interview took place in the Genelec studios in New England, thanks to the suggestion of the Genelec team!
