Kathy Peck spent her youth laying down the bass lines for some of the most innovative punk music in the San Francisco Bay Area during the 1970s and 80s. She rocked and rolled with the best of them and was among the most noted bass players of the era, but it has been her passionate dedication to hearing that has established Kathy as one of the leading advocates in the music products industry. After experiencing deafness after a concert and hearing loss over time, Kathy wanted to spread the important message of caring for your hearing. Her amazing crusade has been inspiring to many and a great resource for millions who would otherwise not consider the consequences of not taking measures to ensure ear safety. As the founder of H.E.A.R. Kathy has given information and the gift of longer hearing to musicians the world over!
