KC Darrell

KC Darrell always felt that his father was his best friend. They two opened a series of music stores in New Hampshire over the years, working side by side for over 40 years. KC learned the business from his father, who had opened several stores for Wurlitzer in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. In 1969, the father and son team opened Darrell’s Music, with it’s first location in a mall in Bedford, New Hampshire. As the business grew, they expanded to four stores including one in Concord which his father, Ken, ran and one in Nashua, which KC managed. Both men were proud when KC’s son, Adam, joined the business in the 1990s, marking three generations in the piano industry!
