Keith Alexander

Keith Alexander played the important role of Director of Operations for the Los Angeles-based swing band, the Big Band Alumni. The band, whose leader is Bill A. Jones, was established in the late 1990s when former members of the Big Band Era came together to keep their skills sharp and swing dancers moving! Over the years it has comprised musicians who once played in bands led by Count Basie, Stan Kenton, Glenn Miller, and Woody Herman (to name just four). Their combined experiences and love of the music make for a traditional and authentic sound. Behind all was Keith, who madesure everything and everyone was in place and ready to go at the downbeat! During the 1970s and 80s, Keith was often seen at the NAMM Shows working for a number of innovative companies including Morley effects pedals and several makers of early MIDI controllers and keyboards.
