Kelsea Robson
Oral History Information
Kelsea Robson faced a devastating car accident temporarily putting her college education and career aspirations on hold, but her determination and passion for music never wavered. Kelsea started playing piano at age five and later took up the trumpet and French horn in school. After the accident, her longing to return to music was so strong that a friend brought her to their local Guitar Center to explore keyboard workstations. That visit reignited her musical journey and introduced her to the music products industry. Guitar Center had a job opening, and Kelsea seized the opportunity. Over the years, she worked her way up from store manager to director, and in 2016, she transitioned to Mackie, where she now oversees the company’s strategic accounts, continuing to make a mark in the industry. Kelsea participated in the 2024 Women of NAMM (WoN) leadership summit, a yearly event designed to foster leadership development and expand participants’ professional networks.
