Kerry Marx

Kerry Marx is the Music Director for the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. He began working for the Opry in 2000 as a member of the staff band. The band regularly backs up the many performers who appear on the Opry’s weekend radio program/live concerts as well as their TV events and concerts throughout the week. Kerry was just 13 when he received his first guitar. After a brief hiatus in college playing the bass, he returned to the guitar and hit the road touring with a wide range of performers including four tours with Johnny Cash, which included a 1991 performance at Madison Square Garden in New York.
