Lou Witt

Lou Witt grew up on a small farm in Iowa and one day asked his band director in school for an instrument.  He was given a trombone and has played the instrument ever since.  He enjoyed playing music and soon developed an interest in working within the music industry. Lou worked for Schmitt Music in retail before being hired in 1980 as district manager for the mid-west territory for Yamaha. Lou joined Yamaha at a very exciting time, for example he was with the company in the late 1980s when Yamaha built a state of the art factory in Michigan.
