Job Title
Vice President Sales & Marketing
Company Name
Godin Guitars

Mario Biferali has dedicated his career to the world of guitars, working closely with Robert Godin, the visionary founder of Godin Guitars. Since its inception in 1972, the Canadian-based company has expanded to three factory locations, with over 80% of its staff being musicians—ensuring that every instrument is crafted with a deep understanding of the player’s needs. Mario’s journey with music began in childhood when he picked up the guitar and later formed a band that would go on to tour and record. By day, he taught guitar lessons, and it was through one of his students—Robert Godin’s son—that he was introduced to the extraordinary instruments Godin was creating. Intrigued, Mario asked Robert for a job and officially joined the company in 1999. He started as the Artist Relations Manager, playing a pivotal role in collaborating with legendary guitarist John McLaughlin to design his signature Godin model. Over the years, Mario’s passion and expertise led him to become Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In an amusing twist of fate, he now reports to Simon Godin—the same student he once mentored—who has since risen to the role of General Manager.
