Mark Ronson accepted the Music for Life Award during the NAMM Show in January 2024. During the Industry Insights session with NAMM President/CEO John Mlynczak, Mark spoke of his musical influences, a theme he carried on within his NAMM Oral History interview later that morning. Mark also spent time within his interview expressing his views on the early hip-hop DJs' impact on his career, especially as a Grammy Award-winning producer. 2006 Mark was named Producer of the Year by the Grammys for his role in Amy Winehouse’s album Back to Black. Other notable records as producer include “Shallow” by Lady Gaga, “Uptown Funk” by Bruno Mars and “I’m Just Ken” by Ryan Gosling.
