Max Ivchenko
Oral History Information
Max Ivchenko was born in Ukraine and became the first person from his country featured in the NAMM Oral History program during the 2025 NAMM Show. From a young age, Max was captivated by music and aspired to play the guitar. He formed a close friendship with brothers Vadym and Dima Gavrilenko, master luthiers and musicians who deeply understood the needs of guitar players. In 2023, Max played a pivotal role in introducing their guitars to the U.S. market by assisting with their debut at the NAMM Show. Continuing his musical journey, Max takes guitar lessons and earns a living by connecting musicians worldwide with these exceptional instruments.
