Mike Snyder

Mike Snyder grew up in Maryland, where his love for drums developed during his teenage years. Spending countless hours at Chuck Levin’s Washington Music, Mike developed a deep connection with the drumming community, forging lifelong friendships and a sense of belonging. Years later, he experienced a similar camaraderie when he joined the team at Skip’s Music in Sacramento. Mike’s journey from working in the store’s warehouse in 2006 to advancing into management was not just a career path but a fulfilling mission. Over the years, Mike formed a close bond with Skip Maggiora, the store’s founder, and together they worked behind the scenes, providing backline support for major events like the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee. For Mike, this was more than just a job; it was a shared passion for live music and community engagement.
