Pat Moore

Pat Moore is the founder of Moore Music in Evansville, Indiana, which he opened in 1976. His passion for music began when his mother rented a snare drum for him when he was 11 years old. He played alongside his brother for years in local supper clubs. Many of the gigs they played featured traveling musicians, which was a wonderful way for Pat to learn many styles of music. When he was 18, Pat began providing drum lessons in area music stores. In 1976 he had the opportunity to purchase ABC Music in Newbury, Indiana, which he renamed Moore Music. His C. Bruno & Sons rep, Jim Matthews, provided Pat with great help and support and even assisted Pat in setting up his store. After 35 years Pat sold the store to Brett Mulzer, yet can still be found in the store, that’s right, giving drum lessons!
