Paul Ash

Paul Ash had great memories of his father, Sam Ash, the founder of Sam Ash Music in New York. Paul enjoyed the years he worked with his father and credited him for his knowledge of the music products business. Paul also learned his philosophy of customer care from his father, which he developed during his long career in the store. Although Sam passed away in his mid 1950s, Paul and his older brother Jerry were determined to carry on the name and traditions. With nearly 50 stores in 16 states, the Ash brothers have accomplished their goals. Paul was a dedicated member of the industry who was always willing to provide help and support to the NAMM Resource Center, a fact we have always been grateful for over the years.  Paul passed away in February 2014.
