Pete Levin played French horn in high school and college and at the beginning of his professional career until the early 1970s when he discovered synthesizers. Pete switched to keyboards in the Gil Evans Orchestra and has since worked with many well-known musicians including John Scofield and Jimmy Giuffre. Pete produced several albums as a bandleader and alongside his brother Tony he formed the jazz group Band of Brothers in 2024 with Joe and Pat LaBarbera.
