Phil Ealy

Phil Ealy is an award-winning lighting designer who established West Coast Concert Lighting in the late 70’s. Having designed the lighting rigs for several large rock tours, Phil became known for his attention to every detail with focus on smooth eloquent color transitions and flash and bang effects when needed. Phil toured with an impressive list of rock bands including Guns N’ Roses, Ratt, Motley Crew, Van Halen and more recently with country star Kenny Chesney. Phil has been nominated three times for the CMA Touring Awards and presented the Lighting Director of the Year for both 2015 and 2018. The Parnelli Awards presented their Lighting Designer of the Year to Phil in 2016 for his work on the Guns N’ Roses reunion tour.
