Rachael Goldman

Rachael Goldman sat down for her NAMM Oral History interview in her family’s retail store, in a building the Goldmans have operated in for over 100 years. The store opened down the street in 1899 by her great-grandfather Moses Goldman as a collateral loan business. In the 1960s when her grandfather ran the business he expanded the inventory to include musical instruments, which is a big part of their business today. Rachael is proud of the family feeling among the staff and enjoys working with her sister and father, carrying on the family tradition of serving their community.
