Rob Carhart

Rob Carhart is the Director of New Products Engineering for PRS Guitars, a manufacturer of musical instruments located in Stevensville, Maryland, which was founded in 1985. Rob has worked in a variety of positions with increasing responsibilities within the business since he started as a body team sander in 1992. Rob has worked as the Neck Team Manager, Final Assembly Manager, Production Manager, Acoustic Production Manager, R&D Manager, and now as the Director of New Products Engineering. As such, Rob has an extensive knowledge of PRS’s products, manufacturing procedures, quality standards, and strategic company goals. Rob and the Product Engineering team work closely with Paul Reed Smith and a variety of departments within PRS to develop new products from concept to implementation in manufacturing. Outside of his work with PRS Guitars, Rob enjoys spending time with his family and playing guitar.
