Ron Pritchett

Ron Pritchett began playing the guitar when he was young, with a focus on Jazz. He played in supper clubs and local events until he was drafted into the army in 1957, after which he continued to focus on playing as well as teaching. The private lessons he provided were based on a method he created over the years, which could be applied to any level the student might be at. One of his star students, Andy Timmons, went on to record million-selling albums and tour the world with his bands Danger Danger, Pawn Kings and The Andy Timmons Band (ATB). Both Ron and Andy attended their local music store’s 125th anniversary in 2023. Goldman's Pawn Shop is where they both purchased guitars and gear over the years so it was fitting both of their NAMM interviews were conducted in the store during their special milestone.
