Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith remembers with pride the day in the 5th grade when he joined the school band playing drums. That special feeling of making music and being a part of something bigger than himself has stayed with him. In fact, as a employee at Beacock Music in Vancouver, Washington, he is able to relive those moments each time he assists a child in finding their own instrument. Ryan joined the Beacock team in 2002 on the sales floor, getting to know his customers and how he could help each one find the right product for them. He worked his way up to managing the sales team before becoming the store’s general manager. Don’t let his title fool you, when needed Ryan still sweeps up, cleans trumpets and gladly helps out at school rental night.
