Scott Ray passion for music was sparked at an early age, when his mother gifted him his first guitar. When his father took him to buy a Gibson electric guitar and amp from David Platt Music, Scott was primed for a life steeped in music. Performing in local bands and working at Coast Music introduced him to the vibrant music products industry, where his technical curiosity blossomed. His career gained momentum after hands-on training at Audio Engineering Associates, which led to unforgettable moments with Frank Zappa’s camp. With an ever-growing expertise in cutting-edge audio technology, Scott went on to represent top-tier companies like Waves and Eventide. Alongside his professional achievements, Scott is a dedicated Flamenco guitarist, deeply inspired by Pepe Romero Sr., and a talented songwriter, with one of his compositions featured in the film Student Nurses—a testament to his multifaceted artistry.
