Sigrun Jantzen

Sigrun Jantzen has been playing piano and cello since her childhood and holds a Ph.D. in History of Fine Arts. She has also worked for a book publisher which focuses on classical music books. In 2012, Sigrun was hired as the Head of Sales by G. Henle Publishers in Germany. The company was established in 1948 by Günter Henle who sought to produce sheet music of the highest quality based on all available original sources, a process known as Urtext Editions. Among the many exciting projects Sigrun has been involved with while at Henle was the 2016 release of the Henle Library App. This App provides musicians access to the Henle Urtext Editions on their tablets. The company focuses on providing their customers with printed music and feels that both printed and the digital versions are needed.
