Steve Purcell

Steve Purcell grew up in a musical family and knew at a young age he wanted a life in music. After earning his degree, Steve was hired as a band director in 1977. Three years later he was encouraged to take a job at Paige’s Music calling on schools and helping band directors. He loved the idea of applying his background as a band director to the job, which ultimately became a relationship building position, which suited Steve’s personality and benefited his position within the company. By developing strong relationships with the band directors at the schools he called on, Steve was able to help grow the school music department at Paige’s, which is something he is very proud of.
