Ted Cohen founded TAG Strategic to help companies understand how technology can empower, rather than threaten, the future of music. As early fears around AI and digital disruption took hold, Ted became a voice of clarity—offering real-world solutions and advocating for tech’s potential to support creative expression. His passion for music was sparked early, inspired by his mother’s work in event planning, where he first observed the intersection of performance and business. Ted went on to manage bands and later joined the recording industry, holding key roles at Warner Bros. and EMI before moving into digital media with Westwood One. As the digital music era took shape, Ted advised major players like Universal, Microsoft, and Amazon. In 2006, he launched TAG Strategic with the guiding mantra: “leveraging our collective expertise in digital entertainment.” Clients have included Gibson Guitars, Verizon, and Coca-Cola. Through it all, Ted remains driven to support and elevate music creators.
