Yoshiaki Tanaka

Yoshiaki Tanaka, though not a musician himself, has always harbored a deep appreciation for music and a steadfast commitment to music education. Appointed president of the Ikebe Musical Instrument Store Company in 2019, Yoshiaki’s diverse background includes studies in chemical engineering and business, as well as roles in global film development and IT engineering at Panasonic. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his own consulting company before joining Ikebe. Following the tragic passing of Mr. Haruhiko Ikebe, Yoshiaki was invited to support the company, becoming president in August 2019. He now assists in running their 30 store locations in Osaka and Tokyo, finding fulfillment in supporting music education and contributing to the vibrant music industry.
