NAMM Announces New Shuttle Service for 2003 NAMM Show

Carlsbad, Calif.

In an effort to make the 2003 NAMM Show experience more convenient and enjoyable for participants, NAMM today announced the availability of a new shuttle bus system with special discounted rates for NAMM Members.

The new Anaheim Resort Transit (ART) shuttle service will help NAMM attendees travel more easily between the Convention Center and the Anaheim Resort hotels, Disneyland, Disney’s California Adventure, Downtown Disney and many more restaurants and shops. ART buses run approximately every 10 minutes (during peak hours) at every stop on the system's eight routes, making the service a convenient alternative to renting a car or using a taxi.

“NAMM Members asked for more cost-effective and convenient transportation options and we responded by working with The Anaheim Resort to offer the clean-fuel ART system this year,” said Pat Martin, director of meetings and events, NAMM. “By purchasing a pass in advance, our attendees will be able to quickly and easily get around the area for a very reasonable cost.”

Pricing and Availability:
To ride the ART system, NAMM Show attendees must purchase an ART pass prior to boarding the shuttle. Pre-show pricing for NAMM Members is as follows:

1-day Adult Pass $1.60
3-day Adult Pass $4.00
5-day Adult Pass $6.40
Child Pass Free with adult pass purchase

Interested parties who have questions about the ART system or would like to purchase a pass before the show should visit namm.org/events and download the fax-back order form.

Non-discounted ART passes will be available at most Anaheim Resort hotels, the Anaheim Convention Center, the official Anaheim Tourist Information Center at Disneyland and the Anaheim Visitor Center at Harbor and Katella. All riders must purchase passes prior to boarding ART shuttles.
