NAMM Announces Wanna Play Celebrity Jam as Finale of 2010 Summer NAMM Featuring Gov. Mike Huckabee and Country Music Stars

Event Celebrates Upcoming Launch of New CD to Benefit Music Education in Nashville through The NAMM Foundation's Wanna Play Fund

Gov. Mike Huckabee will trade his talk-show host microphone for a bass guitar as he takes the stage along with a host of top country music stars including Aaron Tippin, Louise Mandrell, John Anderson and Jonathan Cain of Journey all performing in the Wanna Play Celebrity Jam to close the 2010 Summer NAMM on Sunday, June 20.  Many of Nashville's finest studio musicians will also be on hand to play songs from the forthcoming  CD to be launched in the next few months that will benefit the Wanna Play Fund.
 
The event, which is open to all Summer NAMM attendees with their show badge and to anyone attending Wanna Play Sunday on June 20, is scheduled to take place at the Renaissance Hotel's Grand Ballroom beginning at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 20.
 
"Learning music changes lives and fulfills dreams," said Huckabee.  "I'm excited about the upcoming CD for the Wanna Play Fund and there is no better way to celebrate music and music education than by having a jam session at Summer NAMM."
