NAMM Foundation Announces NAMM President's Innovation Award Recipients
Foundation Awards Students Pursuing Music Products Industry Careers and Invites them to Attend 'Generation Next' at the NAMM Show
The NAMM Foundation today announced the recipients of its 2011 NAMM President’s Innovation Award. The following college students will receive a grant to help support their travel needs and expenses to attend the NAMM Show. They will also have the opportunity to attend the "Generation Next"; program at the 2011 NAMM Show, which offers college students valuable hands-on and educational learning experiences, networking and a chance to see the inner workings of the most important music products trade show in the world.

"Our goal in supporting these young professionals and inviting them to the NAMM Show is to provide them with educational tools, trade insight, and networking opportunities, and to mentor the best and brightest students who may one day become the future leaders of our industry," said NAMM President and CEO Joe Lamond.
The NAMM President’s Innovation Award is provided to undergraduate and graduate students. The cash award supports qualified college students to attend NAMM’s annual global music products trade show in Anaheim, Calif. Awards help with travel needs and expenses to attend the show. Through their participation in the "Generation Next" program at the NAMM Show, students will have access to the more than 1,500 music products exhibits that constitute this global music products trade show.
