Summer NAMM Delivers Dynamic Opportunities, July 9-11
With exhibit bookings already up 10% over last year, plan now to join the industry at Nashville’s Music City Center
There’s more in store for the global music products industry as registration and hotel bookings open for Summer NAMM held July 9-11, 2015 at Nashville’s Music City Center. The annual summer music industry gathering brings together major buying power and the hottest brands in the heart of Music City. Expanded professional development offerings, a surge of first-time exhibitors and an amplified presence from pro audio brands inject Summer NAMM with countless can’t-miss opportunities.
"Our members who have attended Summer NAMM these past few years have told us how important it was to their growth and success,” said Joe Lamond, president and CEO of NAMM. “The industry is changing and opportunities are emerging quickly. We are dedicated to producing this efficient and affordable mid-year gathering to assist our community music store members and the exhibitors who support their growth."
Summer NAMM provides a dynamic platform for emerging and established brands to create lasting impressions as buyers plan for the second half of the year. First-time Summer NAMM exhibitors such as Aluminati Guitar Company and Drumtee will join returning brands including Yamaha, Casio, St. Louis Music, Taylor Guitars, C.F. Martin & Co and many more.
Nearly 25 companies, including Marshall Amplification, Washburn Guitars, Santa Cruz Guitar Company, Zildjian, DigiTech, Seymour Duncan and Amati’s Fine Instruments are coming back to the show floor for the first time in several years. In total Summer NAMM bookings are up more than 10% over the same time last year, and more than 16% over 2013.
New in 2015, TEC Tracks offers a full slate of educational sessions focused on recording and live sound production in a dedicated area adjacent to the NAMM Idea Center. Dozens of music retailer-focused NAMM U offerings include Wednesday’s Retail Boot Camp, Breakfast Sessions each morning and Idea Center sessions, delivering proven, peer-to-peer ideas for maximizing retail business opportunities throughout the show.
Nashville nightlife kicks off with evening entertainment and networking opportunities. ‘Insight’ returns with musical icons and industry leaders engaging in entertaining stories and music. Friday night, July 10, salute the best in music-products retailing at the fifth annual Top 100 Dealer Awards.
